View product ›Industrial coveralls, flame retardant protective clothing, workwear jackets, safety helmets and safety footwear manufactured in Mumbai and shipped to Kuwait. Sea transit to Shuaiba Port runs 7 - 10 days. Manufacturing and exporting since 2000, ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Kuwait's protective clothing demand is almost entirely refinery-driven. Mina Al-Ahmadi, Mina Abdullah and the Al-Zour complex together form one of the densest concentrations of refining capacity anywhere, and every crew working inside them wears flame retardant clothing as standard issue. That makes Kuwait a smaller market than Saudi Arabia by volume but a higher-value one per garment. Sanctum Work Wear manufactures FR and standard industrial coveralls in Mumbai and ships to Shuaiba and Shuwaikh.
Kuwait's import regime is the most procedural in the Gulf after Saudi Arabia. Regulated goods require a Technical Evaluation Report under the KUCAS scheme before customs entry, and consignments arriving without one stall. We prepare the manufacturer-side documentation with that in mind, and we would rather spend a week getting the file right than have a container sitting at Shuaiba.
Indicative sea transit times from Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mumbai. Production time sits ahead of transit and depends on order quantity, fabric and whether embroidery or custom colourways are required.
| Destination | Sea transit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Shuaiba Port | 7 - 10 days | Main industrial gateway, closest to Al Ahmadi and the refinery belt. |
| Shuwaikh Port | 7 - 10 days | General cargo gateway serving Kuwait City and Shuwaikh industrial area. |
| Via Jebel Ali, UAE | 5 - 7 days plus road | Transhipment route used for consolidated or urgent cargo. |
| Air freight (KWI) | 1 - 3 days | For size sets, approvals and urgent contract replenishment. |
Import registration is completed by your Kuwait-registered consignee. We supply the manufacturer-side documentation that registration depends on.
Mina Al-Ahmadi, Mina Abdullah and the Al-Zour refinery complex. Flame retardant coveralls are standard issue across all three and their turnaround contractor workforces.
Kuwait Oil Company field operations and the Gulf Oil Company assets, where FR clothing and confined-space PPE are mandatory.
Petrochemical Industries Company plants, adding chemical splash and ammonia handling considerations to the FR requirement.
Scheduled refinery turnarounds create sharp, time-bound surges in coverall demand across large temporary workforces - the situation where lead time matters most.
Roads, housing and utility programmes, plus the Shuaiba, Sabhan and Amghara industrial areas, driving hi-vis coverall, helmet and safety shoe volume.
Ministry of Electricity and Water generation and desalination assets, typically specifying FR or arc-rated outerwear.
All garments are manufactured to customer specification. Standard colourways are navy blue, petrol blue, light blue, white, orange, grey, red, yellow and khaki, in sizes XS to 6XL, with logo embroidery and custom reflective tape configuration available.

View product ›KUCAS is the Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme. Regulated goods require a Technical Evaluation Report issued before the consignment reaches Kuwaiti customs, and PPE commonly falls within scope. The report is arranged by the Kuwait-registered importer, and we supply the manufacturer-side documentation it depends on, including our ISO 9001:2015 certificate, fabric composition declarations and mill test reports for the lot.
Turnarounds are the demand pattern we plan for in Kuwait, because a shutdown puts a large temporary workforce into FR coveralls on a fixed date. Give us the headcount, size spread and the date the garments must be on site, and we will work backwards through production and transit to confirm whether the schedule holds. If it is tight we will say so rather than commit and miss.
Yes. We manufacture both inherent flame retardant fabrics and treated constructions including a Pyrovatex finish, in coveralls with matched FR jackets. Our FR garments are made from fabrics certified to EN ISO 11612 and EN ISO 11611, and the fabric certificates and mill test reports for the lot supplied accompany the consignment. Where a KOC or KNPC contract names a specific standard, send us the clause and we will confirm in writing which construction can be supplied against it and what test documentation accompanies the lot.
Sea freight from Nhava Sheva to Shuaiba or Shuwaikh typically runs seven to ten days in transit. Some buyers route through Jebel Ali with onward road movement, which can be quicker for consolidated cargo. Production time sits ahead of transit and depends on order size and customisation.
Yes. Site access rules on Kuwaiti refinery projects often require the contractor name and sometimes the employee name on the garment. We can supply embroidered chest logos, contractor name panels and individual name tapes, and we will hold your specification on file so later batches match the first.
Send us your garment specification, quantity and size breakdown and we will come back with pricing, lead time and the documentation pack for your consignment.
